Kornetti is a young, hip bakery that recently opened up in Waikiki! Located at the Hawaiian Monarch, Kornetti features Italian Napoli cornetti’s stuffed with fruits, chocolate, or even just served plain with coffee!

A cornetti or “cornetto” is an Italian pastry from Napoli that looks like a croissant without the flakes! Imagine a lighter croissant with a smooth, glossy exterior. As for taste, its light on the tongue and slightly sweet and not as messy as a croissant. It was amazing with nutella, bananas, and kiwis! A balanced treat with flavors of sweet, sour, and saltiness intertwining. The plain cornettis also go great with a cup of coffee – a great treat when you’re on the run!

Kornetti has really nailed the presentation and taste down to a tee. Serving up works of art made up of cornettis, fruit, and fillings, its almost too beautiful to eat! Although Kornetti had just opened their first ever location, it feels like they’ve been in business for years!

Our cornettis were served with bright smiles and confidence in their pastries, which we loved to see! Not only were the cornettis great, but the service was fantastic as well! As we enjoyed our cornettis in their modern setting, we had small talk with the sales associate and enjoyed hearing of the great background on the owner and the company’s history.
Overall, a fantastic experience filled with delicious pastries, beautiful lattes, and fun people!
