The Waikiki Shore Hotel has a front desk operated by Castle Resorts and has most of the units managed by them. Another management company is the Outrigger Hotels. We are one of the few owner managed type vacation rentals. Hawaii Ocean Club Realty Group Inc and it’s vacation rentals has high standards in keeping it’s units clean and has a quick follow up. We become your personal concierge!

This ocean front property really promotes having fun at the beach with “beach stuff” rentals, surf lessons, etc. As you go to the beach side of the buildings hallway you will have a great view of the beach and reef looking down…..one occasion I noticed a snorkeler wading in the shallow as a sea turtle circled around this snorkeler. I hoped to yell and get his attention to see the turtle but as it goes it was an elusive situation.

You can really work up an appetite being on the beach! The Waikiki Shore Hotel beachside has a variety of eats. Asian food, cheeseburgers, steak, subway sandwiches and of course “Shaved Ice” to cool you down!

Also, unique shops and services like Hair braiding, art gallery and lessons, foot massage, hair salon, etc all at the Waikiki Shore.

For exercise there is volleyball nearby or try your skill on a “like tennis” match but a smaller court and a wiffle type ball….so neat to watch too!

Trump Tower is across from the Waikiki Shore that offers great places for cocktails. Outrigger Reef on the beach has Hawaiian Music as you enjoy cocktails at their pool bar. Halekulani Hotel has one of my favorite restaurants…the Orchid Restaurant and House without a key.

Same block with Roy’s Restaurant and Grill, Yard House and Denny’s! But, I like unique “hole in the wall” type places….on Beachwalk you will find “Henry’s place” that offers homemade sorbet…..with fresh mango! And also next to that is the “Food Trucks” with shrimp scampi and much more!

And just a few steps from that is Tommy Bahamas’s Restaurant and Bar…..the bar is interesting where the upper deck has a sandy floor surrounding some seating area….sand between the toes while sipping on margaritas…..nice!

I can go on and on about staying at the Waikiki Shore……what a bargain!
